Decoration or Worship

I have worked as an interior designer. Recently while shopping I have noticed statues of Buddha in the accessory area of many stores. If we profess to be Christian, we should not have Buddha as an accessory of décor in our home.

You may be wondering why I am talking about décor when the conversation is about loss. God gives us warning in His word. And I am addressing a preventive measure here; one to avoid loss.

In Deuteronomy 8:19, God tells us, “Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.”

Obedience to God always brings blessings.
