If you feel crushed like you are drowning, then you may be overwhelmed with sorrow.  Jesus was overwhelmed with sorrow.  He knows exactly how you feel.  You can go to him knowing he understands.

Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” Mark 14:34
