When someone experiences a loss, they often ask the question, “why?” A simple single word question. As Christians, we know who the question is directed at; the only one who can answer it.

The answer may be,

because, “… I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11;

because, we live in a fallen world, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12

because,  “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29.

It is comforting to know that we can take our questions to God.
