Is Your Tower Strong?

When we see towers being built, we generally think that the builder or company that it represents is a prominent figure in society. Developing cities build tall towers to show strength, usually in the financial realm. But in times of trouble, who do we run to as our tower of strength?

King David was a worshiper of God. He was humbled to know how God protected him so many times when he was in battle. We can take a lesson to run to God, who is a strong tower, where we are safe in Him.

[God is] “my lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.”
