Do You Have Empty Pockets?

It seems that sometimes when we save up our money and try to get ahead, something happens to take our money away. It could be a car repair, doctor bills, a major house repair, or a loss of income.

How do we view our finances? Do we see them belonging to God? When we see our resources belonging to God, and we are managing them for Him, it makes us consider if we are good stewards of what belongs to Him.

“Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Consider your ways! You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but do not have enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.’”

Haggai 1:5,6  NKJV

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”  Matthew 6:33  NKJV
