Have you ever gone to the doctor and they have to send you for more tests? The doctor is unable to diagnose the problem, if he can’t diagnose the problem, he is more than likely not able to cure it either. The Bible indicates that the root problem of all sickness is sin, and there is a cure, “… He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. “…by His stripes we are healed.” It is already done! The remedy for sin is the cross. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 NKJV
