Being an early riser, that is before the sun rises; I occasionally see things others do not. Like the other morning, I looked out the window as I was getting my first cup of coffee and I could see bats flying around.

Psalm 5:12 came to mind, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

The bats would come to a certain distance from the house and fly away. I thought to myself that God has a pretty big shield that protects us. Sometimes He wants to remind us.
