Travel Preferences

People have different ideas about leisure travel. Some like to go and stop along the way and see different attractions, others like to point in the direction they are going and get there as soon as possible.

Grieving can have different travel patterns. We can relate many times to people who are on this road, but their pattern will not always be the same. The one thing everyone wants to avoid is getting stuck in one spot for years in their journey to healing.

This morning on the third anniversary of my husband’s passing I woke up with this devotional on my mind and God gave me a verse of comfort.

“You [God] will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”  Isaiah 26:3  NKJV

What a precious gift from God who loves me more than I can comprehend!
