It wasn’t a stroke of luck

This was not a stroke of luck that I had a headache before going to bed.  It started off mild and by the time I got into bed it was a stabbing pain in the back part of my head. I kept praying, asking God to take the pain away. At one point, it felt like there was nothing in my brain, which instilled fear in me. After five hours of praying and crying out to the Lord, God said for me to curse the pain and cast out the spirit of stroke. I did as he recommended and the pain instantly left.

“he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases,” Luke 9:1.

I praised the Lord the next day when I awoke to no pain. A month later I went to the hospital for another issue, and the doctors did an MRI of my brain and found evidence of a stroke and healing. God’s word says, “…And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV.

God’s word is real and living, and we can lay hold to all his provisions.
